Joan Miró was a famous artist born in Barcelona in April 1983. His work has been interpreted as Surrealism re-creation of child-like with a strong Catalan pride.
Joan Miró Foundation is a museum dedicated to his work, including more than 10.000 pieces: drawings, paintings, sculptures, ceramics and murals.
Our guest, Marcelo from Brazil, visited the Foundation last Summer. However, part of Miró's legacy can also be seen around the city itself, like "Woman and Bird"
covered in tile fragments (near Spain Square) or "Pla de l'os" close to the Opera House in Las Ramblas.
